String Fiction's "Chapter Six" EP, recorded in full at String Fiction's own studio in Ravensdale, NSW and mastered at Clarity Studios in Newcastle. Artwork concept by String Fiction, photography by David Murramai.
The most "Frequently Asked Question" we get is "why Chapter Six? Where are instalments one through five?" The truth is, whilst this is our first physical release under the name String Fiction, we as a band have been on a solid journey of songwriting, performance, self development, and general exposure to life and all it's rapids and turbulence, and we feel like we have put a lot of distance between us and our "Part One."
This record contains four tracks which we consider quintessential to crossexamining our sound. Time Travellers has it all in the title, and is a personal story of all the staple romantic influences (love, loss, time travel, nuclear fission, the end of the world, and cafes).
Cerebral Dream is a story told through music alone, and devoid of vocal interruption.
The Cycle talks of secular patterns, life addictions, relationship degradation, and general implosion.
Finally, "Everybody Sings" closes out the record with a semi-fictitious story of lust, arson, attempted murder, and resolute relationship absolution. We swear it's actually a really happy, upbeat song!

about
Our science fiction romance epic and opening track to the Chapter Six EP.
lyrics
It's the everything I wanted
Encased in Autumn months
Nostalgia by the garden swings
of our street cafe in France
Where we'd run from all that present
And hide eons past
Singing la da da da da da
Our time will always last,
It'll last.....
I'd write a book of past embraces
spilt in spirits on the page
Borrowed from your past and mine
and salt what ache remains
To hell with all that symmetry
The devil's in our plans
As line by line it all runs free
Till with majesty we stand...
Take my hand
